      1. Gather a paper cup and a plastic straw. 2. Cut a 10 cm piece from the straw and insert it through the bottom of the cup. 3. Use tape to secure the straw, ensuring it can rotate freely. 4. Attach another straw piece horizontally across the top of the first straw. 5. Go outside on a breezy day and hold your anemometer up; count how many times it spins in one minute. 6. Compare your results with family members — who got the highest wind speed?
