1. Fill a large bowl with water and place it on one side of the room. 2. Set an empty bowl at the other end, about 5 meters away. 3. Give each child a sponge. 4. On 'Go!', they must soak the sponge and run to transfer water to the empty bowl, trying to spill as little as possible. 5. After a minute, measure how much water is in the empty bowl. 6. Discuss which techniques worked best to conserve water during the relay.
