Try it with your learner
1. Gather a small shovel, a container, and a few food scraps (like banana peels). 2. Choose a spot in your garden or a pot and dig a small hole about 15 cm deep. 3. Collect soil from different layers: topsoil, subsoil, and any rocks. 4. Place the soil in separate containers and examine them closely. 5. Add food scraps to the top layer and cover with soil. Observe over the week. 6. Discuss how each layer might affect plant growth and what you discovered.
