1. Gather a flashlight, a white wall, and small toys or cut-out shapes. 2. Dim the lights in the room for better visibility of shadows. 3. Shine the flashlight at the wall and place an object between the flashlight and the wall to cast a shadow. 4. Experiment with different distances and angles — how does this change the shadow's size? 5. Use your hand or cut-out shapes to create shadow puppets and enact a short story. 6. Discuss how shadows were formed and what shapes you created.
