1. Cut coffee filter paper into a circle about 10 cm in diameter. 2. Draw a dot with a black marker in the center of the filter. 3. Fill a small bowl with water (2 cm high). 4. Carefully place the filter paper in the water, dot side up, ensuring it doesn't touch the bottom. 5. Watch as the colors spread and separate — take notes on what you see! 6.
