1. Gather a small basket and a magnifying glass. 2. Go outside to a garden or park. 3. Search for at least 5 different plants and collect samples (leaves, flowers, stems). 4. Use the magnifying glass to examine each part closely. 5. Draw each plant part in your notebook and label them. 6. Discuss with a family member what each part does for the plant.
