1. Collect 10 natural items (leaves, stones, twigs, or fruits) from your backyard or park. 2. Identify which items represent producers (plants), consumers (animals), and decomposers (fungi). 3. Arrange the items on a flat surface to show the food web connections — use string to indicate relationships. 4. Label each item with its role in the food web: producer, consumer, or decomposer. 5. Discuss how removing one item might affect others in the web. 6. Share your completed food web with family and explain the connections you've made.
