1. Gather 3 cups of water and label them A, B, and C. 2. Add a slice of beetroot to cup A, turmeric to cup B, and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice to cup C. 3. Stir each cup gently and observe the color changes. 4. Use a dropper to add lemon juice to the beetroot water and observe any changes. 5. Record how the colors change and classify A, B, and C as acid, base, or neutral. 6. Share your findings with your family — what surprises you the most?
