      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather 3 clear glasses, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 cup of warm water. 2. Fill the first glass with 1/3 cup of warm water. 3. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the first glass and stir. 4. Observe and note what happens to the sugar as you stir. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 with the second glass using cold water and the third glass with a mixture of both. 6. Compare the results in each glass and discuss why they differ.
