1. Take a clean plastic bottle and cut it in half. 2. Fill the bottom half with small pebbles for drainage. 3. Add a layer of soil on top of the pebbles. 4. Plant a small indoor plant like mint or basil in the soil. 5. Pour a little water to moisten the soil, then cover the top half of the bottle to create a sealed environment. 6. Observe your ecosystem over a week — what changes do you notice?
