      1. Gather 1 cup of cooked rice and 1 cup of water in a bowl. 2. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt to the rice and mix well. 3. Use a clean paintbrush to spread the rice mixture onto a sheet of white paper. 4. Place the paper in a warm area and cover it with a glass container. 5. Observe the growth of colorful mold over the next few days. 6. Reflect on the patterns created and discuss what types of microbes you observe.
