Try it with your learner
1. Gather a flashlight, a white wall or sheet, and various objects (toys, hands). 2. Turn off the room lights and turn on the flashlight, pointing it at the wall. 3. Hold each object in front of the light source to observe the shadow size and shape. 4. Create a puppet using cardboard and a stick, then hold it up to the light. 5. Move the puppet closer and farther from the light source to see changes in shadow size. 6. Share your favorite shadow puppet story with your family!
