Try it with your learner
1. Gather a flashlight, a white wall, and some opaque objects (toys or cutouts). 2. Turn off the room lights and position the flashlight about 1 meter from the wall. 3. Hold a puppet or object between the flashlight and the wall to create a shadow. 4. Move the object closer or farther from the flashlight and observe the shadow size change. 5. Experiment with different objects — which ones create the clearest shadows? 6. Share your favorite shadow puppet story with your family using the shadows you created!
