1. Gather a plastic bottle, paper, and a ruler. 2. Cut the bottle in half and invert the top half into the bottom half to create a rain gauge. 3. Use the ruler to measure the rain collected daily and record it on paper. 4. For temperature, place a thermometer outside. Note the temperature each morning. 5. Describe the weather conditions (sunny, cloudy, rainy) and write it down. 6. Compare your collected data with a family member — how does today's weather differ from yesterday?
