1. Gather a plastic bottle, a cup, a straw, scissors, and a notebook. 2. Cut the bottle in half to create a rain gauge. Secure it upright in the cup. 3. Use the straw as a simple thermometer: mark temperature levels on it (from hot water). 4. Place your rain gauge outside to collect rainwater daily. 5. Record the weather conditions daily in your notebook: sunny, rainy, or windy. 6. Discuss with your family how the weather changes throughout the week.
