Try it with your learner
1. Take a clean plastic bottle and cut it in half. 2. Fill the bottom half with soil (about 5 cm deep). 3. Plant small seeds like mustard or coriander in the soil. 4. Add a few small pebbles on top for drainage. 5. Water the soil lightly and place the top half upside down over the bottom half to create a closed environment. 6. Place your ecosystem in a sunny spot and observe it daily — what changes do you see?
