1. Gather a shallow tray, some mud or sand, and a plastic animal toy. 2. Press the toy into the mud or sand to create its footprint. 3. Use a notebook to sketch the footprint shape and write down what animal it is. 4. Research online or in books to find other local animals and their tracks. 5. Create footprints for at least 3 different animals. 6. Share your findings with Amma or Appa — what did you learn about their habitats?
