1. Gather a zip-lock bag, water, blue food coloring, and a permanent marker. 2. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bag and add a few drops of blue food coloring. 3. Seal the bag tightly and use the marker to draw the sun and clouds on it. 4. Tape the bag to a sunny window and observe. 5. After a few hours, check for water droplets inside the bag — what do you see? 6. Discuss the changes with your family: what do the droplets represent?
