Try it with your learner
1. Gather 4 small pots and fill each with soil. 2. Plant 2 seeds in each pot. 3. Place one pot in direct sunlight, one in partial shade, one in a cool place, and one in a warm place. 4. Water all pots equally with 50 ml of water every day. 5. Observe and record the height of each plant every 3 days. 6. Compare which conditions helped the plants grow best — why do you think that is?
