Arrange them in a line to form a food chain (e.g., leaf ➜ caterpillar ➜ bird ➜ snake ➜ fungus). 4. Draw the food chain on paper and label each item. 5. Discuss how each item depends on the others for energy. 6. What happens if one part of the chain is removed?
