Try it with your learner
1. Take a clear plastic bottle and cut it in half carefully. 2. Fill the bottom half with small pebbles and soil. 3. Plant a small sapling or seeds in the soil. 4. Pour a little water into the soil to moisten it. 5. Place the top half of the bottle upside down over the bottom half to create a closed environment. 6. Observe daily for changes — what do you notice happening inside?
