Try it with your learner
1. Gather a clear glass jar with a lid. 2. Add a small layer of soil at the bottom. 3. Place a few small plants or grass seeds on top of the soil. 4. Pour a little water into the jar to moisten the soil (not soaking). 5. Close the jar with its lid and place it in sunlight. 6. Observe daily — what happens inside the jar?
