1. Gather 5 different colored papers (green, yellow, brown, blue, and red). 2. Draw and cut out images of a plant, herbivore, carnivore, and decomposer on the colored papers. 3. Use a string to connect these images in the correct order of the food chain: plant → herbivore → carnivore → decomposer. 4. Label each image with its name using a marker. 5. Discuss with your family how energy moves through this chain. 6. Hang your food chain on the wall and explain it to someone!
