Try it with your learner
1. Collect kitchen scraps like vegetable peels, fruit scraps, and eggshells (about 1 cup). 2. Find a container with holes (like a plastic bottle) to allow airflow. 3. Layer the scraps in the container with some dry leaves or newspaper shreds. 4. Moisten the mixture lightly with water — it should feel damp, not soggy. 5. Place the container in a sunny spot and stir it gently every few days. 6. Observe the changes weekly and note what happens to the scraps.
