Try it with your learner
1. Gather colored paper, scissors, and glue. 2. Cut out shapes for a plant, herbivore, carnivore, and decomposer. 3. Label each shape with names like 'Grass', 'Rabbit', 'Fox', and 'Fungi'. 4. Arrange them in a chain showing who eats whom. 5. Glue the shapes in place and draw arrows to indicate the flow of energy. 6. Discuss how changing one part affects the whole chain.
