Embodied cognition theory suggests that simulating another person's experience enhances emotional understanding. Acting out scenarios helps children connect feelings to actions, making empathy a tangible skill.
1. Write down 3 different emotions on small pieces of paper (happy, sad, angry). 2. Place them in a bowl. 3. Take turns picking an emotion and acting it out without speaking. 4. The others must guess the emotion and share a time they felt the same. 5. Discuss how those feelings might affect behavior and choices. 6. What did you learn about your friends' feelings and how to support them?
