Try it with your learner
1. Draw a large grid on a piece of paper with axes labeled from -5 to 5. 2. Choose 5 locations on the grid to hide 'treasures' (like coins or toys) and note their coordinates. 3. Give clues or a treasure map using those coordinates to a family member. 4. Find the treasures by plotting those coordinates. 5. Discuss how you found each treasure. 6. Create a new set of coordinates for another family member to discover!
