Creating a timeline engages children by connecting history to their lives. It promotes reflection and enhances memory through visual aids.
1. Take your A3 paper and draw a straight line across the middle. 2. Use the ruler to mark equal intervals on the line. 3. Think of 5 key moments in your life and write them above the line, in order. 4. Use colored markers to illustrate each moment with drawings or symbols. 5. Decorate the timeline with stickers or additional colors. 6. What did you notice about the order of your life events?
