By practicing time blocking, children engage in Vygotsky's scaffolding principles as they learn to structure their time efficiently. This creates a zone of proximal development, gradually building their cognitive skills without overwhelming them.
1. Choose 3 small treasures (toys, snacks) and hide them around the room. 2. Set a timer for 5 minutes for each treasure hunt block. 3. Write down the order of how you'll search for each treasure. 4. Start the timer and find the first treasure before time runs out! 5. After finding it, take a short break, then start the next time block. 6. Discuss with your family about the best strategies for finding treasures efficiently!
