Try it with your learner
1. Gather a paper plate and two straws to create clock hands. 2. Draw numbers 1 to 12 around the plate like a clock. 3. Puncture the center of the plate with a pencil to insert one straw for the hour hand. 4. Attach the second straw with tape or glue for the minute hand. 5. Practice moving the hands to show different times while saying them out loud. 6. Challenge a family member to guess the time you've set on your clock!
