Engaging in a hands-on task while listening activates multiple brain pathways, reinforcing memory retention. By physically creating with each step, children embody instructions and improve comprehension through embodied cognition.
1. Gather 4 different colored papers (A4 size) and scissors. 2. Cut each paper into 4 squares for a total of 16 squares. 3. Spread the squares on a flat surface, mixing colors. 4. Listen to instructions on how to arrange them in a pattern (e.g., red, blue, green, yellow). 5. Once arranged, glue them onto a larger paper. 6. Share your quilt with family and explain your pattern choices!
