The dual coding theory suggests we learn better when visuals are paired with physical actions. As children hunt for objects, they create mental images of their surroundings, enhancing recall and awareness over time.
1. Choose 5 small objects (like a coin, toy, pen, etc.) and hide them around a room. 2. Write down clues describing each object's location (like 'under the sofa' or 'next to a plant'). 3. Take turns with your family to find the objects using the clues. 4. Once found, discuss what made it easy or hard to locate. 5. Switch roles and hide the objects again! 6. Challenge each other with new clues for a second round.
