1. Gather 5 small objects from around your home (toys, utensils, etc.). 2. Place them in a box or bowl. 3. Look at the objects and think of a setting for your story. 4. Create a plot that connects all the objects in a meaningful way. 5. Write down your story or tell it to a family member. 6. Share how each object contributed to the tale and what you learned.
