This hands-on scavenger hunt engages children through embodied cognition, as they physically move and interact with items. By having them search for prices and categorize items based on cost, they experience budgeting firsthand, reinforcing their learning in a fun way.
1. Gather 5-10 items from around your house (toys, snacks, books). 2. Create a price list for each item (use ₹10, ₹50, etc.). 3. Lay the items out on a table. 4. Look at each item and write down its price next to it. 5. Compare which item is the most expensive and which is the least. 6. Discuss with a family member how you would budget for buying these items.
