By physically adjusting and observing their own posture, children engage in embodied cognition. This hands-on experience reinforces the importance of good posture through self-awareness and practice.
1. Gather a chair and a mirror (or use a phone camera). 2. Sit on the chair and look straight ahead. 3. Check your reflection for slouching or leaning. 4. Adjust your back, shoulders, and head to sit straight. 5. Hold the correct posture for 1 minute while breathing deeply. 6. Share your new posture with family and discuss its importance.
