      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather a cardboard circle or a paper plate to represent the pizza. 2. Use scissors to cut it into 8 equal slices. 3. Decorate each slice with different toppings using crayons or markers. 4. Share the pizza by giving each family member a specific number of slices. 5. Discuss what fraction of the pizza each person received. 6. Create new pizzas with different numbers of slices to compare fractions!
