1. Gather a plate and a round bread or cardboard to represent your pizza. 2. Use a knife or scissors to divide the pizza into 4 equal pieces. 3. Decorate each piece with toppings to make it unique (use paper if cardboard). 4. Share the pieces with family members — how many pieces does everyone get? 5. Write down the fraction of the pizza each person receives. 6. Create a second pizza, but this time cut it into 8 pieces — compare your fractions!
