Try it with your learner
1. Gather 20 beads in 4 different colors (5 of each color). 2. Create a simple pattern using 3 beads, like red-blue-green. 3. Ask your child to repeat your pattern using their own beads. 4. Challenge them to create a new pattern and explain it to you. 5. Together, extend each pattern with 3 more beads and discuss the sequence. 6. Create a 'pattern wall' by displaying your patterns for everyone to see!
