      Try it with your learner

      1. Gather 10 different food items from your kitchen or pantry. 2. Create a chart with columns for 'Food Item', 'Nutrient', and 'Benefits'. 3. Look at each item and research the nutrients it contains using online resources or food labels. 4. Fill out the chart with your findings. 5. Share your chart with your family and discuss which foods are the healthiest and why. 6. Plan a meal using at least three of the nutrient-rich foods from your chart.
