      Try it with your learner

      1. Collect 10 smooth pebbles and 10 rough pebbles from outside. 2. Arrange the pebbles in a line on the floor, alternating textures. 3. Stand at one end of the pathway and take a deep breath. 4. Focus on each step as you walk slowly along the pathway. 5. Feel the different textures under your feet and notice your breathing. 6. Share your experience with a family member — how did it feel?
