Physical movement combined with memory tasks leverages embodied cognition, as kids move to retrieve cards, solidifying memory through action and engaging multiple senses.
1. Take 12 index cards and draw 6 pairs of matching items (like fruits). 2. Shuffle the cards face down and spread them out in a grid. 3. Set a timer for 2 minutes and start searching for pairs, flipping two cards each turn. 4. If you find a match, keep the pair; if not, turn them back face down. 5. Count how many pairs you collected when the timer rings. 6. Challenge family members to beat your record in the next round!
