By having children visualize their water intake through measuring and recording, they engage in embodied cognition, turning an abstract concept into a tangible experience that encourages awareness and responsibility.
1. Gather 4 empty bottles (1 liter each) and a marker. 2. Mark each bottle with times of the day (8 AM, 12 PM, 4 PM, 8 PM). 3. Fill each bottle with water up to the 1-liter mark. 4. Set a goal: drink all the water by the end of the day. 5. Track your progress by crossing off each hour after drinking. 6. Discuss with Amma or Appa how you feel after drinking water regularly.
