Try it with your learner
1. Gather 5 different items from your home (toys, snacks, etc.) and assign each a price using play money or coins. 2. Create a small shop area with a table and a sign with prices. 3. Take turns being the shopper and shopkeeper, practicing how to ask for items and calculate total costs. 4. Use coins to pay for the items, counting out the exact change. 5. Reflect on what you learned about prices and money while shopping. 6. Switch roles and repeat to gain more practice!
