Creating friendship bracelets engages children in a tactile way while encouraging focused attention on their peers’ feelings. This hands-on experience exemplifies Vygotsky's scaffolding, as children learn to express kindness through tangible gestures that strengthen their social bonds.
1. Gather 3-5 colored threads or yarn pieces, each about 30 cm long. 2. Tie the threads together at one end to create a base. 3. Braid the threads together, weaving them closely for 15 cm. 4. Tie a knot at the end to secure the braid and leave extra thread for tying. 5. Decorate your bracelet with beads if you have them, adding personal touches. 6. Give your bracelet to a friend and share why you appreciate them.
