This activity helps children familiarize themselves with keyboard layout and letter recognition. Identifying letters in a playful context builds confidence and curiosity about typing.
Using embodied cognition, children engage physically with the keyboard, reinforcing memory through tactile interaction. The treasure hunt format makes learning active and memorable by attaching fun to every letter they discover.
1. Print a list of 10 letters (A, B, C, etc.) and hide it. 2. Set a timer for 5 minutes. 3. Search your keyboard for each listed letter. 4. When you find a letter, say its name out loud. 5. Count how many letters you found and record your time. 6. Challenge Amma or Appa to beat your score next!
