Using embodied cognition, kids physically interact with the keyboard to locate keys, reinforcing memory through action. This experiential learning helps them connect letters and functions to their corresponding actions, making typing intuitive and enjoyable.
1. Gather a keyboard and a list of keys to find (A, S, D, etc.). 2. Set a timer for 5 minutes. 3. When the timer starts, race to find each key on the list and press it. 4. For each key you find, say its name aloud. 5. Write down how many keys you pressed correctly in the time limit. 6. Challenge a family member to see who can find the most keys!
