The dual coding theory suggests that combining visual (jar) and verbal (kind acts) representations enhances retention. By creating a physical artifact of kindness, children internalize the importance of their actions, making it a memorable experience.
1. Grab an empty jar and decorate it with stickers and colors. 2. Take small pieces of paper and cut them into strips. 3. Write down 5 kind acts you can do this week, like helping Amma or sharing toys. 4. Fold each strip and place them in the jar. 5. Share your acts with family and discuss their impact. 6. At the end of the week, reflect on how many acts you completed and how they made you feel.
