Using imagery and physical actions taps into embodied cognition, making breath control a tangible experience. Children connect breath with movement, helping them calm themselves and enhance their attention span through focused breathing.
1. Sit comfortably with your legs crossed. 2. Hold your hands in front of your chest like a balloon. 3. Inhale deeply through your nose, expanding your hands as if filling the balloon. 4. Hold your breath for 3 seconds, imagining the balloon getting bigger. 5. Exhale slowly through your mouth, letting your hands come back together. 6. Repeat this 5 times, counting each breath and feeling your focus grow.
