      Why It Works

      The learning connection

Embodied cognition suggests that physical experiences, like inflating and deflating a balloon, help solidify abstract concepts like breath control. This playful method engages children emotionally, improving their ability to concentrate.

      Try it with your learner

      1. Find a small balloon or imaginary balloon in your mind. 2. Sit comfortably and place your hands on your belly. 3. Inhale deeply through your nose, feeling your belly expand like a balloon. 4. Hold your breath for a moment, imagining the balloon is full of air. 5.
