Visual tracking of water intake employs dual coding theory, combining numerical data with physical actions. This activity makes drinking water a conscious and engaging choice, reinforcing the habit through embodied cognition.
1. Gather 3 empty bottles (1 liter each) to represent daily water goals. 2. Fill each bottle with water to its full capacity. 3. Keep a log of how much you drink throughout the day. 4. After every glass, pour the same amount back into one of the bottles. 5. Count how many bottles you finish by the end of the day. 6. Share your hydration hero status with family — did you meet your goal?
